Introduction

During our activities, E-vate Group collects, stores and processes personal information about our staff, customers, suppliers and other third parties such as Names, contact details and in some circumstances, financial details. We recognise the need to treat personal data in appropriate fair, lawful and transparent manner, in accordance with prevailing UK and other relevant international Data Protection law including the General Data Protection Regulation 2016 (“The GDPR”). This policy covers all registered entities of E-vate Group. In the UK, our business entities are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office and are listed as a Data Controller for defined purposes. The Group also acts as a Data Processor when handling data on behalf of Third Parties. We gather and use certain information about individuals in order to provide products and services and to enable certain functions as part of our website/service. We also collect information to better understand how visitors use our website/service and to present timely, relevant information to them. E-vate Group regards the lawful and correct treatment of personal data and special category data as important to the achievement of our objectives, to the success of our operations and to maintaining confidence between those with whom we deal and ourselves. We therefore ensure that our organisation treats personal information fairly, lawfully and transparently. To this end the Group fully endorses and adheres to the 7 Data Protection Principles, as set out in the GDPR. Definitions

E-vate Group will not transfer personal information to third parties unless you have expressly given your consent, or when the data transfer is otherwise justified under the applicable law (to comply with a regulatory requirement, judicial proceeding, Court Order, Government request or legal process) and it is ensured that your legitimate interests are observed. E-vate Group undertakes to provide an adequate protection of personal information transferred outside of the European Union, regardless whether such data is processed by other E-vate Group companies or other third parties.

We’ll aim to retain your personal information for as long as needed or permitted when considering the purpose(s) for which it was obtained and as outlined in this Privacy Policy or as specified in agreements.

Data Breaches

We take any breach of personal data very seriously. Any breach will be fully investigated and reported to the ICO within 72 hours in line with the GDPR and other legislation. Where there is potential for the harm of individuals, data subjects will also be informed.

E-vate Group will take appropriate security measures against unlawful or unauthorised Processing of Personal Data, and against the accidental loss of, or damage to, Personal Data. We have procedures and technologies in place which are designed to maintain the security of Personal Data from the point of collection to the point of destruction.

The content of our website was created with the greatest of care. However, we cannot guarantee that this content is correct, complete or up to date. We, as service provider, are responsible under the general laws for our own content on this website.
